Watch Our New Ad: Real Stimulus
Today we launched a new statewide TV ad campaign highlighting Richard Moore’s bold economic plan that includes raising wages, cutting property taxes for seniors, child care for working moms, and providing free community college tuition for all high school graduates.
When both major Democratic candidates were given the chance to talk about their priorities for working families at the recent AFL-CIO meeting, one participant wrote, “Richard came in and absolutely knocked our socks off. One labor leader who has done this for a looooong time and is a Bev supporter told me that Richard's interview was the best he had ever seen for a gubernatorial candidate.”
Meanwhile, Richard’s economic stimulus package continues to generate praise:
- John Quinterno, of the NC Budget & Tax Center, said, “Moore's proposal represents a simple but powerful way of improving the quality of jobs across North Carolina.”
- Chris Fitzsimon, Executive Director of NC Policy Watch, talked up Richard’s plan to improve access to child care: “Moore deserves a lot of credit for the proposal. . . . Despite the compelling need to help single mothers lift themselves out of poverty, the waiting list is rarely mentioned on the campaign trail. Moore changed that this week.”
- The Wilmington Star-News called Richard’s property tax initiatives "welcome proposals to help the elderly" and said, "Those homeowners need those breaks."
We look forward to seeing you,
