NEW POLL: Moore and Perdue locked in a dead heat
Richard Moore is locked in a statistical dead heat with Bev Perdue – closing the gap to just 38-37— according to a new poll released today from Public Policy Polling. PPP noted that Moore’s strong showing in the poll
has come on the strength of an effective TV advertising campaign. He led 45-39 in the poll among respondents who reported having seen ads for both candidates in the last week. The trend is clear. Over the past three weeks, Richard Moore has gained 26 points on Bev Perdue. The more people hear about these two candidates, the more they respond to Richard's message of economic opportunity and better management. Richard's numbers have shot up in every major demographic category, including substantial gains among African-American and women voters. He also beats Perdue among new primary voters who are being brought into the election as a result of the Presidential contest.
