NEW POLL: Moore and Perdue Deadlocked at 40%

National polling firm SurveyUSA released a new poll today showing that Richard Moore and Beverly Perdue are deadlocked with each candidate taking 40% of the vote.

40% Moore
40% Perdue
3% Nielsen
17% Other / Undecided

ABC's affiliate in the Triangle is reporting that,
Both whites and blacks, young and old have rallied to Moore, who trailed by 20 points in February.

[ABC 11, 4-8-08]
And Public Policy Polling's Tom Jensen noted that the poll
certainly confirms the narrowing trend we've shown in the race.

I support Richard because I saw how he handled Hurricane Floyd in 1999 and I hope he brings forth the same management style as governor.
