Moore wants to ban DOT board members from making donations

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Richard Moore says he wants to bar state transportation board members from making campaign donations to candidates for public office.

The state treasurer and Democratic gubernatorial hopeful also said Monday he wants to prevent Board of Transportation members from collecting donations on behalf of a candidate.
